Wiki tuaiwa highlight- Puriri Pupuhi Nui

On Rāhina the Puriri team gathered together to engage in our Puriri Pupuhi Nui. It was a great day in the pool, participating in a variety of swimming strokes we learnt during our Water Safety lessons. The swimming strokes included; Doggy paddle, Dolphin dive, using flotation devices such as flutter boards and pōro (ball) etc.

A very big THANK YOU to all of the whanau who came along to support us on the day!

Owairaka Maunga- Unbelievably beautiful!

Yesterday, the Puriri Team went for a hikoi up to the Owairaka Summit. This trip was perfect for us to get a panoramic view of our beautiful backyard. In our rōpū, we searched for landmarks. As a kaiako, I was very happy to hear my ākonga shout with excitement and amazement went they spotted a landmark.

Tēnā koe to our whānau for joining us on our hikoi. Tēnā rawa atu koe to Makuini, for sharing the story of our tupuna, Wairaka.
