Watch out world Miss Mills has 25 body guards!!!

This weeks Taekwondo session including punching and blocking as well as celebrating being a LOSER. That's right, I said it "We are LOSERS and proud of it". Our instructor shared with us his personal experiences of winning and losing when competing in Taekwondo competitions. We totally took on board his message that, while we will win sometimes, most times we will lose and that's ok.

One thing I know for sure is that when it comes to giving everything 100%, Room 18 students and Miss Mills are WINNERS!

  1. Kia ora Taekwondo learners,
I have never tried Taekwondo so it was good to see your video clip. I think you are extremely lucky to be learning this at school. Do any of you do Taekwondo or any other martial arts. Your instructor is so right - we need to learn to be good winners and good losers - such an important lesson.
    Have a great weekend.
    Tania

  2. Hi I am Alaska from Karoro School. I really liked how you were learning Taekwondo. I always wanted to learn a bit about Taekwondo. Maybe next time you could write a bit more about what you learnt.
