Day 1: Ruma rua tekau ma rima - Getting to know you, getting to know all about you!

WOW what a great first day. We did a few getting to know you activities today, one of the activities is called 'Me too'. One person starts by holding the end of the ball of string and shares information about themselves, if another student can relate to their story, then they put their hand up and the receive the ball of string. Every person that shares must hold on to the string, eventually we can see all of the things in common we have as we are all connected to the one piece of string.
