Energy- where does it come from?

On Monday morning, Kauri classes visited Esther in the hall to listen to a korero about energy.
We learnt a lot about all of the different sources of energy we use and the impact it has on our world.
SUSTAINABILITY was an important focus of our discussion and also gaining a better understanding of natural ways in which we can generate electricity.

Can you guess what natural source of energy we are using to make the helicopter propeller spin? Is this type of energy sustainable?

What source of energy is this? Clue: windy days are the best. Both Luke and Mohamad were doing their very best to make the windmill/propeller spin as fast as it could to generate electricity to light up the bulb.
