Wiki Kākāriki- It's all about the Pī (bee)

This wiki we will be learning about ngā Pī (bees). Did you know that Honey bees are super important pollinators of putiputi (flowers), huarākau (fruits) and huawhenua (vegetables).

Check out this slide. There is a Papa kōwhiri ngohe (Home learning choice board), ngā ataata (videos) and ngā pukapuka to enjoy.

  2. Kia ora Room 22. What a great idea to focus on bees this week. I know they do such an important job of pollinating our plants. I'm looking forward to seeing some of your mahi.

I hope you are all having fun at home learning about bees and how important they are for our environment. I planted some lavender plants in my garden to attract bees, it works!
Here's a bee joke for you. What did the bee say to the flower? Hey bud!
