Everyday this week, Fay has been sharing her beautiful culture with us.
Yesterday she has taught us how to say colours in Samoan, we are still practising them.
We also learnt how to ask "What is your name"? in Samoan- "O ai lou igoa"?
To reply you would say "O lou igoa o............." you say your name at the end of that sentence.
Today Fay allowed us to see and touch some of her belongings such as Siapo cloth, earings, necklaces, bracelets etc.
Lots of the jewelry is made out of coconut shell and shells from the Island.
Fa'afetai tele lava Fay!
Talofa Room 22, thank you for sharing your learning with us. We are so lucky to have staff willing to share their culture with us. I have learnt a lot this week too!
