2019 Athletics - Puriri and Kauri Teams

On Tuesday the 5th of November,  both the Puriri and Kauri team students competed in our school athletics competition. It was a very hot but wonderful day. Here are some of the Room 25 students who received a certificate for their performance.

Keisomani came first in the Year 5 boys Shot put and Discus.

  

Mele came second in the Year 5 girls High Jump and second in the Year 5 girls 100 meter race.

Solomone came first in the Year 6 Boys Shot put

Melnina came in third place in the Year 5 girls 100 meter race and third in the Year 5 girls long jump.

Honey came first in the Year 6 girls 100 meter race.

Matthew came second in the  Year 6 boys 400 meter race and Eliza placed first in the Year 6 girls 200 meters.

As their teacher, I was incredibly proud of all of my students! A great day and a chance for us to proudly demonstrate our three school values; Manaakitanga, Manawanuitanga and Kaitiakitanga.
