Bee Aware Month

 This month is Bee Aware Month. Here is a video from Minister Damien O'Connor.

By planting bee friendly trees, wild flowers or shrubs in your māra (garden), you are being a 

kaitiaki (guardian of our environment).

Wiki Kākāriki- It's all about the Pī (bee)

 This wiki we will be learning about ngā Pī (bees). Did you know that Honey bees are super important pollinators of putiputi (flowers), huarākau (fruits) and huawhenua (vegetables).

Nǐ hǎo and Talofa- New Zealand Chinese Language Week and Vaiaso o te Gana Tuvalu ( Tuvalu Language Week)

 This week we celebrate two Languages, Chinese and Tuvalu. Please enjoy these slides and learn more about these amazing languages, practice pronouncing the words and share the greetings with your whānau (family).
