Bee Aware Month

 This month is Bee Aware Month. Here is a video from Minister Damien O'Connor.


By planting bee friendly trees, wild flowers or shrubs in your māra (garden), you are being a 
kaitiaki (guardian of our environment).

Wiki Kākāriki- It's all about the Pī (bee)

 This wiki we will be learning about ngā Pī (bees). Did you know that Honey bees are super important pollinators of putiputi (flowers), huarākau (fruits) and huawhenua (vegetables).

Pūnaha nakunaku kai- Digestive system

It is time to focus on te Pūnaha nakunaku kai- The Digestive system.

Did you know....... that laundry detergents contain some of the same enzymes to remove stains that are found in our Pūnaha nakunaku kai.
