Pūnaha Kōiwi-Skeletal system

Now that you have learnt about the Pūnaha tukupara (Circulatory system) and our manawa (heart), it is time to learn about our Pūnaha kōiwi (Skeletal system).

Remember- if you can access your Drive folders, this mahi will be in the Home Learning folder. If you are unable to access your drive, just do your mahi on a piece of pepa (paper).

  1. Hi R 22, your learning about the body looks so interesting. Do you know where the rib cage is and that it protects the lungs. Why do you think this is so important? Happy learning!

I love your learning about the human body - and today moving onto skeleton. Do you know how many bones we have altogether? And why is the skull such an important bone? Keep up the great learning!
