Besides the obvious that... KIDS LOVE ICE CREAM it was a great way to learn some scientific information. We were learning that salt causes the ice to melt but it also lowers the temperature at which it melts. This made it ideal for helping our ingredients of milk, sugar and vanilla reach freezing point

Science - Ice cream making
Besides the obvious that... KIDS LOVE ICE CREAM it was a great way to learn some scientific information.
